Business Profile
For years, Active IT Design, LLC (Active Information Technology Design) has helped many small and medium sized businesses use technology to evolve in their respective industry. Our office is located in Fort Mill, SC just south of Charlotte, NC. Our main focus is on clients within a 50 mile radius of Charlotte, NC but work requiring more extensive travel may be considered depending on project type and duration.
Our client base is quite broad and we have supported and implemented networks of various sizes. We specialize in building solutions based on Microsoft Small Business Server, Windows XP, and Windows Vista for companies with 75 or fewer computers. Rest assured that if it is a Microsoft product, then we have probably implemented or supported it before. We also have experience with Novell products, and NetWare to Windows migration.
Owner Profile: Jonathan O'Brien - Systems Engineer
Jonathan officially began his career after finishing up a large Microsoft Windows deployment project as a contractor for a local Buffalo, NY consulting agency. Jonathan is an extremely motivated individual and saw no reason to be working for someone else, so he went out on his own as a freelance networking consultant and later formed Active IT Design, LLC. Active IT Design won the Outstanding Supplier of the Year award from West Valley Nuclear Services Company, located in West Valley, NY for services supporting their mixed Novell NetWare and Microsoft Windows environment. Over the years Jonathan has proven his expertise by obtaining several high profile technology certifications and applying his knowledge on a daily basis to solve customer problems. |
